The DSR215 from Yamaha is a professional-quality 2-way active loudspeaker, ideal for sound reinforcement applications. The rugged cabinet houses a pair of 15″ ferrite cone woofers and a 2″ titanium compression tweeter with a neodymium magnet, which provides maximum efficiency and low weight.

Exclusive LTBD (Long Throw, Broad Dispersion) constant directivity waveguides provide a wide coverage pattern to reach a broad audience. Internal Class-D amplifiers provide 1300W of output power for a strong, distortion-free performance. XLR and 1/4″ inputs let you connect a variety of mic or line level sound sources, while an XLR output lets you daisy-chain additional speakers.

Onboard DSP includes FIR-X tuning for smooth crossover transitions and 24-bit AD/DA converters for maximum dynamic range. D-CONTOUR processing provides consistent clarity and high and low output levels. Extensive protection circuitry prevents damage from DC faults, clipping, overheating, and over voltage. The speaker has a pair of integrated carrying handles for easy transport.
