The XR 1212 from Peavey is a console-style powered-mixer that’s ideal for any situation where an experienced sound person may not be present at all times. The XR 1212 features a number of automated functions that run in the background which effortlessly help you get the best sound possible.
The XR 1212 features a built-in patented feedback elimination system called the Feedback Ferret, which digitally locates and suppresses frequencies that threaten to disrupt your audio. The feedback gets cut out of the spectrum before you ever hear it, and the filtered frequencies get released when the system detects that feedback is no longer a threat.
If that wasn’t enough, the XR 1212 also features an automated real-time analyzer that adjusts the curve of the system EQ. It automatically tunes the system the moment you plug in a microphone to achieve optimum sound quality.
There is also a built-in digital effects section with reverbs, delays, compression, and chorus. All 12 channels feature balanced XLR and 1/4″ inputs. There are two monitor sends, a dedicated effects return fader, 4-band EQs on every channel, and dual 9-band graphic EQs.
The internal lightweight amplifiers are 600 watts each, and can be bridged at 1200 watts. There are 80Hz low-cut switches on every channel, and a Neutrik Speakon combo output for each amplifier. The XR 1212 is the perfect powered-mixer for any situation that demands an easy-to-operate yet powerful PA system.
