The 2RU CC4000 Professional Power Amplifier from Crest Audio is designed to deliver stable high power output for running main systems, monitors and subwoofers. The amplifier can be operated in parallel, stereo, or mono bridged mode. It features two channels with independent 100 Hz crossovers and a power rating of up to 4000W bridged at 4Ω. This amplifier features 16 power devices per channel, and a switched-rail class H stage and triple-compound design to provide low distortion and thermal stability.
The on-board protection suite includes Crest Audio’s proprietary ACL (Automatic Clip Limiting) circuitry, which prevents the amplifier from sending potentially damaging clipped signals to the loudspeakers. It also features Temperature, Signal, and Active safeguards for each channel, all referenced on the front panel with LED indicators along with the ACL indicators. It features a toroidal power transformer and a magnetic circuit breaker On/Off switch. This unit is cooled by two variable speed fans with back-to-front airflow.
